For agencies
Becoming a partner
Agencies work with Blengi in one of two ways. A reseller bills its own clients, pays a fixed price per client and runs everything under its own brand. A referral partner sends customers to Blengi: Blengi bills them, and the agency earns 25 % of what they pay, every month.
Applying
An agency applies at /partners/apply with its name, a
contact, its website, roughly how many clients it has and the way it
would like to work. The page follows the visitor's language. The
platform admins get a mail for every application; a second application
from the same address while the first one waits adds nothing.
Approval
A platform admin opens the application in Admin › Partners and approves it as reseller or referral. The contact becomes the agency's owner:
- An existing account is added to the agency as it is.
- Without an account, one is made without a workspace of its own, and the approval mail carries a link to choose a password. Agency people start on the partner dashboard.
The same page pauses, resumes or ends an agency. A paused agency keeps its clients, its links and its commission, but makes no new clients or demos; an ended agency loses access to its clients, its links stop working, it earns no new commission, and it stays ended.
The partner links
Every agency gets a code (for example WEBCO-7KQ2) and two
links, both working only once it is approved:
- Referral link
/?ref=<code>— a visitor who follows it and signs up becomes the agency's customer. - Sign-in link
/login?p=<code>— the sign-in page in the agency's branding, for its clients. See Your branding.
Who a customer belongs to
- The referral link is remembered for 90 days. The last link a visitor followed before signing up counts, also when the sign-up is the activation of a demo.
- Only the sign-up counts. An account that already exists is not moved to an agency by following its link later, and nothing changes after that.
- An agency never refers itself: a workspace run by one of its people, or by an address at its own domain (its contact address or website), is not attributed and earns no commission. A reseller's client is never attributed either.
Referral commission
For every paid invoice of a customer it referred, a referral agency earns 25 % of the amount without VAT, after discounts. Commission starts with the first paid invoice and is counted once per invoice. A reseller earns no commission (it bills its own clients), and an ended agency earns none from then on. Card payments and pay by invoice through Stripe count; PayPal and Razorpay payments and refunds are not taken into account yet.
The agency's owner sees the link, the number of customers and the
commission per month and per invoice under Commission
in the partner area (/partner/commissions). The payout is a
credit note or a bank transfer; a platform admin checks the customers
behind the month and, once the payout went out, marks it paid in
Admin › Partners.
