Blengi for WordPress

Add an AI assistant to your WordPress site that answers from your own pages and posts, not from the open internet.

Ways to install

Pick whichever fits how your site is managed. Each route loads the same assistant.

The WordPress plugin

There is a plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce. You install it, connect your workspace, and the widget loads on the pages you have scoped the agent to.

A single script tag

One script tag works on any platform, WordPress included. Useful if you already look after a child theme or a custom header and prefer to place the code yourself.

Google Tag Manager

If your marketing team owns GTM, Blengi can be installed there, alongside your other tags and managed in the same place.

What gets indexed

Blengi is trained only on your own content, not the open internet.

  • Your published pages and posts, found through your site and its sitemap.
  • A single URL, crawled with link following, when you want to add a section at a time.
  • PDFs, Word files, Google Docs, Notion pages and pasted text.
  • SQL databases, when an answer lives in your data rather than on a page.
  • Sources are re-crawled automatically, so the answers follow your content. A source can also be re-indexed on demand when an edit has to land now.

How it behaves on the page

The widget can be a floating bubble, a side panel, or an inline block placed inside a page or a post. Per-page and per-path rules decide where an agent appears, so a support agent can stay on the help section while a sales agent covers the shop.

Blengi answers in the visitor's language automatically, and says so when it does not know. Starter questions are suggested per page. Curated answers let you pin wording that has to be exact, such as delivery or returns terms.

It captures contact details, asks follow-up questions to qualify a visitor, and hands over to a person with the full conversation attached. A shared inbox lets someone take over a live chat, and a call can be booked through Calendly. Questions it could not answer surface as content gaps, so you can fix the underlying page once.

Questions we get asked

Which install route should I pick? The plugin if WordPress is where you make changes. The script tag if you already maintain a child theme or a custom header and want to place the code yourself. Google Tag Manager if your tags are managed there. They load the same assistant, and you can move from one to another later.
Does it work with WooCommerce?Yes. The plugin covers WordPress and WooCommerce. Product pages are indexed like any other page, so the assistant answers from the wording on your own product pages. It does not read live stock levels or order status, so a question about a specific order, or about what is available right now, is handed to a person.
Where is our content held?Blengi is hosted in the EU and GDPR-aligned. Your content is never used to train models for other customers, and each workspace is isolated from every other.
